A little about me...
I am a certified Health and Wellness Coach, an experienced Nutritionist and Food Technologist, a Marketer and a Social Behaviour Change practitioner. I have 30 years of working experience in the corporate sector - Unilever & Kodak International, public and NPO sector. I have 3 years of experience as a professional health coach. I am the sole director of ILLuminated Lives, a Health and Wellness company which focuses on individual and group coaching, transformation and creation of lifestyle programmes which inspire individuals to transform their lifestyles and thrive!
Having studied Nutrition and Food Science, i have always been passionate about food, the science behind it and it's importance in wellbeing. As a busy professional and mother, i struggled to achieve work-life balance which resulted in weight gain, stress, anxiety and poor sleep, I found myself hospitalised and diagnosed with high blood pressure, which came as a total suprise.
I consulted a dietician who supported me, although I struggled with lifestyle adjustments and needed a lot more support, which I did not get. This led me to research about health coaching, which was a game changer - it offered a different approach - holistic, supportive, motivational and exciting. Ditto! This was what I had been looking for,.I have not looked back since I received my qualification. As a health coach, I offer my clients a safe space to open up about their challenges and symptoms, inspiring them to set realistic goals, and visualise their success, while encouraging and holding them accountable to achieve their goals in a non judgemental manner and thrive

I was born in Lesotho, raised and educated in Swaziland, USA and South Africa!
I am the youngest of four children and had one brother who is diseased.
I am a foodie, I enjoy cooking, love Chinese, Mexican & African food!
